DTF Artwork Requirements

To ensure the best print quality for your Direct to Film (DTF) transfers, please follow the guidelines below before uploading your artwork.

We print exactly what you upload, so proper file setup is critical.

File Format

For best results, submit your artwork in:

  • PNG (Recommended)
  • Transparent background required
  • PDF or AI files (accepted for advanced users)

👉 Avoid JPG files unless the background is intentionally part of your design.

Resolution & Quality

  • 300 DPI (High Resolution Required)
  • Design must be clear and sharp
  • No blurry or pixelated images

👉 Low-quality files will print exactly as they appear.

Background Requirements

  • Use a transparent background for clean prints
  • Remove all unwanted backgrounds before uploading

⚠️ If your file has a background, it will be printed as part of the design.

Sizing Your Design

  • Upload your design at the exact size you want printed
  • Do not rely on resizing after upload

👉 Example:

  • Left chest logo: ~3–4 inches wide
  • Full front design: ~10–12 inches wide

Incorrect sizing may result in prints that are too small or too large.

Colors & Print Expectations

  • We print in full color (no color limits)
  • Colors may vary slightly due to screen vs. print differences

👉 Bright and vibrant designs produce the best results.

Line Thickness & Details

  • Avoid extremely thin lines (may not transfer properly)
  • Small text should be bold and readable

👉 If details are too fine, they may not print or transfer correctly.

Gang Sheets (Multiple Designs)

If uploading a gang sheet:

  • Keep at least 0.25 inch spacing between designs
  • Ensure all artwork is properly aligned
  • Do not overlap designs

File Responsibility

  • We do not edit, resize, or correct artwork
  • We print files exactly as submitted
